Hunar Se Rozgar Tak
“Hunar se Rozgar” is a scheme of the Ministry of Tourism that was launched for creation of employable skills amongst youth belonging to economically weaker sections of the society. This initiative was taken to bridge the gap of skilled manpower in the Hospitality sector.
The Ministry of Tourism has launched a Skill Development Programme with an emphasis on the employability of the skills acquired. Hunar Se Rozgar Programme was started on April 2011 and it is conducted by the Food craft Institute, samaguri Nagaon Assam.
The following courses are conducted at Food craft Institute, Samaguri, Nagaon, Assam under Hunar se Rozgar Tak Programme :

- For all the courses mentioned above the minimum age limit is 18 years and there is no fixed upper age limit.
No application or course fee is charged to the applicant. A trainee who acquired with an attendance of 80% will be paid stipend of Rs. 1,500/- in respect of Food & Beverage Service Steward, Room Attendant and Front Office Associate course and Rs.2,000/- in respect of the Multi Cuisine Cook and Craft Baker courses. The students have to appear in an end of the course test and pass it successfully so as to be able to awards them with a Certificate which is provided from the Ministry of Tourism.
